As for black and white, I would go head to toe in Rachel Zoe:
Surprisingly, Vera Wang sent a pair of proper length shorts down the runway, but as expected of her work, they are extremely elegant. The beribboned blouse adds a special touch:
I would definitely wear this look, the shorts cover everything that needs to be covered right now, at least until the skin on my knees droops. Just like boobs, our knees are going to droop ladies; fact of life, matter of time. Prepare yourselves.
I usually think of Stacey Bendel’s designs as being perfect for the younger set–and by that I mean under 40– but I love the twist she put on this Alice + Olivia shirtdress by tweaking the polka dot trend with this elliptical print. It’s just my style:
The look is perfect as styled; grown up, yet fun.
When it comes to cutouts, lining makes all the difference!
I also loved the pop of color CRR added to the hem of this skirt and the sheer stripe on the arm. It is a great silhouette for women like me, who want to deemphasize the hip area:
So good looking!
Victoria Beckham’s models smile as often as she does, but she is making lots of women happy with her simple silhouettes:
I can’t with all of these pieces together, but think about taking each sparkly item on it’s own and pairing it with a solid partner and a bright accent bag or shoe. Great top; great skirt. I see literal and figurative fashion genius here.
Sophie Theallet sent two versions of the same silhouette down the runway. I like them both:
