I arrived at the party, unsure of what to expect, so I was delighted by what greeted guests at the entrance: A solid gold paint-covered former Olympic swimmer who was a dead ringer for Oscar™.

Kevin and his partner, interior designer Sylvestre Huerta, graciously served us cocktails and appetizers, and then gave us the run of their home, encouraging us to take photos and share them with our readers. I wasn’t expecting that level of openess and generosity, so I’d left my camera behind at the hotel.
