I can’t explain why this last ensemble works for me, it just does, even though it comes thisclose to Practical Magic territory.
I wish I was young enough to wear it styled this way. I’m not. I love the wide leather belt and those kick-ass boots. Change the belt and boots to something a little more refined and it works for just about any age, which is another reason it is all Little Black Dress goodness.
Best detail of all? No logo in sight. His stock may be rising, but the giant MK on his accessories drives me crazy. When done right, his designs have always been good enough to stand on their own.
