First of all, let’s be clear about exactly what is being phased out. The light bulb in question is the frosted incandescent A-Lamp. Much confusion has arisen from the fact that while the most common of incandescent light bulbs are being phased out, many other incandescent products will remain available. Some examples are decorative clear bulbs, candelabra bulbs, colored party bulbs, service lamps and appliance lamps. As for the typical incandescent light bulb (referred to as the A-lamp) the following chart will explain what exactly is being phased out and when.
