I am not the world’s most patient shopper — I think I may actually be missing the “shopping” gene, which is not necessarily a good thing for a designer. I don’t love crowds, I usually like to get in, get what I came for, and get out. There are a few exceptions to the rule.
Don’t let the unassuming exterior mislead you.
The interior spaces are chock full of goodness.
Since 1995, owners Randy Korando and Dan Belman have been curating a beautiful, eclectic, and affordable collection for home and garden.
I love Boxwoods’ layered displays.
Being the “Anti-Shopper” that I am, I like to hit Boxwoods on Mondays, when some of the bustling shops on East Andrews are closed. I like feeling like I have the place all to myself!
They show how to mix old with new, with ease.
Their collection of mirrors and lamps is exquisite.
Beautiful blues mix well with natural textures.
Warm woods are complemented by metal and ceramic accents.
Boxwoods Atlanta stocks an extensive collection of accent pieces.
Take a lesson in layering: Stack mirrors on top of mirrors.
Fresh botanicals dominate the back of the shop. Beautiful flowers, shrubs, and herbs are abundant, and come in unique varieties.
Their garden department is one of the most delightful places I have ever been. It is a foodie fantasyland! The herb garden is chock full of unique gourmet finds. I took home Lemon Thyme, Pineapple Mint and fragrant Rosemary. Some of the Thyme became a fabulous infusion for Blueberry Margaritas. (That makes them more healthy, right?)
|OOPS! DID I FORGET TO MENTION THAT BOXWOODS CARRIES A
